F’tahn Bey received field training from Uncle Tilo and earned his certification from the American Rainwater Catchment System Association (ARCSA). Prior to becoming a Clean Water Partner, F’tahn attended the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, where he earned a B.A. in Psychology. Raised on Oahu, F’tahn understands the importance of fostering strong, healthy connections within the community and the vital role that sharing resources and knowledge plays in its growth. He is committed to serving the community by leveraging his own experiences and his dedication to continuous learning. F’tahn believes in the value of lifelong learning and is focused on applying this philosophy to address the practical challenges of collecting, storing, and maintaining clean rainwater for household use and consumption. He views governance of personal water supplies as a critical step toward fostering independence. F’tahn is a devoted husband, father of five, and homeowner in Puna.

Monthly Maintenance:
Our monthly monitoring service includes the sanitization of your rainwater collection system using household bleach, filter replacement as per agreement, and the preparation of a "Water Report Card" to keep you informed of the system's current condition. This service is offered at $50 per month, with supplies prepaid and a minimum 6-month contract. System Upgrades: We offer a range of system upgrades, including the installation of floating intake lines, first-flush diverters, and pump installations. System Repairs: Our services include repairs for pumps, pipes, and other system components, along with professional recommendations for optimal system performance. Pressure Washing: We provide roof cleaning services to ensure that your roof is free of debris. A clean roof directly contributes to cleaner rainwater. Catchment Installation Services: We also specialize in the installation and replacement of catchment liners to ensure the efficiency and longevity of your system. |
