What if you could not call a water truck?

Imagine a Day Without Water is a national education campaign that brings together diverse participants to highlight how water is essential, invaluable, and in need of investment. This year, the day of action will take place on October 20, 2022, and will include events, resolutions, student contests, social media engagement, and more, all across the country.
Uncle Tilo’s 2022 agenda provides a roadmap to a more sustainable world with water at its heart. Advancement in sustainable rainwater is a vital element of achieving sustainable goals in human health, environmental, economic and social fields.

To ensure availability and sustainable management of rainwater not only addresses the issues relating to drinking rainwater, but also the quality and sustainability of water resources ensuring healthy lives and combating of water-borne diseases.

Uncle Tilo sets out to mobilize action and further dialogue, cooperation and partnership at all levels in order to help achieve water-related goals and targets for sustainable development. This ambition is in line with our mission statement, vision and goals aiming to expand cooperation and strengthen the participation of local communities in improving drinking rainwater.
Archer & Uncle Tilo will travel to Florida this month to have conversations with the mayor and local officials about Rainwater Harvesting.  Why is it not widely implemented as a water source for household use as it is in Hawai'i?  It is our hope to open the conversation and assist in the education endeavor for a wider community.
We are passionate about clean drinking rainwater. 2023 goals include:
  1. Facilitate access to knowledge and the exchange of good practices
  2. Improve knowledge including new information relevant to drinking rainwater
  3. Pursue advocacy, network and promote partnerships and action
  4. Strengthen communication actions for implementation of water-related goals
  5. Crowd participation and links to media and social media campaigns
  6. Create posters, fact sheets, and social media tools to empower individuals and organizations to get involved
